Our Bed and Breakfast is Just Down the Road from Historic Hillsborough

We are always looking to share exciting events, the best restaurants, and most unique attractions for you to enjoy during your stay at our luxury bed and breakfast. Our location gives you the opportunity to explore Durham, Chapel, and Raleigh, all of which provide visitors with an experience rich in history and full of excitement.
Hillsborough Visitor Center
The Alexander Dickson House is now home to the
Hillsborough Visitor Center

The historic town of Hillsborough, which is just a short drive from the Arrowhead Inn, is no exception to the rule of cool places to explore in our area, and this tiny town provides a much more intimate feel and offers affordable and engaging activities for the whole family. From our Durham bed and breakfast take the quick trip over to downtown Hillsborough and stop in at the Alexander Dickson House, the home of the Hillsborough Visitor Center. There, on the second Saturday of each month, a local guide will lead you through the historic heart of Hillsborough and will reveal the stories behind the homes, businesses, and landmarks that have helped to create the unique community that is Hillsborough today.

You also won’t want to miss out on some of Hillsborough’s best restaurants including Panciuto, home to Chef Aaron Vandemark a James Beard Award semi-finalist for Best Chef in the Southeast. And artistic expression doesn’t stop on your plate in Hillsborough, there are art galleries and studios throughout downtown  and on-going events such as the Last Fridays Art Walk, which features a variety of studios and musical performances on (you guessed it!) the last Friday of each month.
