CenterFest Art Festival Sep 21-22 - Durham’s Longest Running Festival

CenterFest is Durham’s longest running and largest festival and it is a good time for the whole family. Stay with us at our Durham bed and breakfast and you’ll be just down the road from all the excitement. Starting on Saturday September 21st and running all day September 22nd this festival will feature 140 juried fine artists and craftsmen from 17 states as well as 72 performing groups, Kids Zone activities, local dining options (including some of our famous Durham foodtrucks!) as well as the CenterFest Food and Beer Garden.

The juried art show is one of the main attractions for the festival but you’ll have a chance to play the role of judge and vote for your favorite CenterFest visual artist! So be sure to arrive early first thing on Saturday (gates open at 10:00am) so you’ll have time to see all of incredible pieces and choose your favorite among the basket-weaving, clay, drawing, fiber, glass, leatherworking, painting, photography, printmaking, wood, jewelry, mixed media, and sculpture entries. Admission to CenterFest is a $5 suggested donation which supports the Durham Arts Council, the event’s organizers.
