One Scoop or Two? Try Out The Parlour, a Great Place to Get a Taste of Durham Dining!

Durham, NC was named Southern
Living's "Tastiest Town in the South"

The word has gotten out about Durham being the Tastiest Town in the South, and there are so many ways to enjoy all the delicious flavors that the Bull City has to offer. We wanted to let you know about one of the newest ways to get a taste of Durham dining.

Thanks to the help of Durham ice cream lovers who supported them through a Kickstarter campaign, The Parlour has grown from being a Durham food truck staple to open a storefront in the heart of downtown. They may have changed location, but their commitment to fresh and local ingredients hasn’t changed a bit. Sourcing their dairy, fruit, and even more exotic ingredients like figs and sweet potatoes from local producers lets you get a true taste of ice cream that is distinctly Durham. And what flavors they are! Everything from lemon buttermilk with strawberry swirl, to ginger dulce de leche, and brown sugar roasted apple. And don’t worry, for the purists out there they still have good old vanilla!

Stop by The Parlour for a true
taste of Durham!
If you’re heading our way to try out the South’s Tastiest Town be sure to swing by The Parlour for a scoop of something you’ll only find here in Durham. And don’t forget, you can always kick off the trip for your taste buds at our Durham bed and breakfast, where our chef is known for his creative breakfasts and truly
