The Triangle is Home to More than Hoops

Duke…UNC…NC State…these are big names when it comes to college basketball. But, late winter sports in the Triangle go beyond the hoop. Raleigh is home to the Carolina Hurricanes who are holding their own in the NHL Eastern Conference and lead the Southeast Division. Led by the Staal brothers the ‘Canes are an exciting team to watch and the games are a fun event for the whole family.

The Hurricanes will take to the ice at the PNC Arena through April with tickets still available for most games. Take this opportunity to see what other fantastic sports teams we have here in the Triangle!

Vote Durham – The South’s Tastiest Town

Without a doubt the American South has become a hot bed for culinary activity. And Durham is no exception. Bon Appetit thinks so, and so does the New York Times. Now Southern Living wants to know what you think, is Durham the Tastiest Town in the South?

We think so! There are so many amazing places to eat in Durham, we could never pick a favorite. In fact there is something for just about any occasion or craving. Many of our restaurants feature food grown locally and are run by chefs and owners who love Durham just as much as we do.

If you’ve visited Durham you probably know exactly what we’re talking about. And if you haven’t visited yet, well come on by to sample some of the food that has Durham nominated as the Tastiest Town in the South. The contests ends on February 28th, so put in your vote for Durham soon!
