You may have heard a lot about the world class restaurants in Durham, but how much do you know about the farms that supply them? On September 21st and 22nd you can discover the farm-to-fork secrets of the Triangle on the Eastern Triangle Farm Tour. But its more than just tasty fruit, veggies, and herbs on the 27 farms included on the self-guided tour, you’ll also get the chance to visit with a variety of livestock including pastured chickens, beef cattle, pigs, and goats. And if you’re interested in honey bees, cut flowers, mushrooms, or rare trees the tour has you covered there too! If you have little ones coming along too they can learn more about life on the farm with a petting zoos, hayrides, and chicken tractors!
