You can feel it, it’s that time of the year. The air is
getting chilly, the leaves are turning, and you know it’s time to start
thinking about your plans for Halloween. The Triangle provides you with many
options to choose from for your Halloween festivities, here are just a few:
Family Fun
Children of all ages will enjoy a day at McKee’s Cedar Creek Farm in Rougemont. The farm hosts one of the
state’s largest corn mazes, as well as a pumpkin patch, a Haunted Trail, and
other children’s activities. The fall festivities run through November 4th.
In Search of a Witch’s
Brew
Explore the spookiest places in Durham as well as some of
the tastiest on Tobacco Road Tour’s Pub Crawl and Haunted Adventure Tour.
Your guide will lead you on a two and a half hour tour of Durham stopping at
haunted sites and bars along the way.
Big Frights on the Big
Screen
Do you think Halloween is the best time to watch scary
movies? Join fellow frightful film fans at the Reel-ly Scary Cary event at Koka Booth Amphitheater. Through October 27th a variety of
horror movies will play outdoors on the big screen to help you get in the
Halloween spirit.
