CenterFest Celebrates the Beauty of Art in Durham

On September 15^th and 16^th the Durham Arts Council will host the 38^th Annual CenterFest Arts Festival, the longest running arts festival in North Carolina. This free event is held in downtown Durham and will feature 130 visual artists who work in a variety of mediums.

The juried art show is just part of the fun however, there will also be live music performances on five different stages spread across downtown. Dance troupes and other entertainers will also take the stage this weekend, so don’t miss your chance to see performances by flamenco dancers, cloggers, and tap ensembles.
