Have your started your garden yet? If not here’s a chance to
dig in and add some herbs, perennials, and annuals to put beauty and fragrance in
your beds. This coming Saturday, June 9th, the Duke Homestead will
host their annual Herb, Garden, and Craft Festival featuring vendors that will be selling many varieties of herbs as well as
flowers and vegetable plants. There will also be crafts as well as preserves
and other handmade food items for sale.
The festival also celebrates Southern agricultural and
crafting traditions and will feature several demonstrations as well as live
music throughout the day. This family friendly event has free admission and
will run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
