Newly Renovated Carolina Theater Hosts Quirky Films and Stellar Performances

After undergoing a major renovation this summer the Carolina Theater welcomes theatergoers, music lovers, and film fans to a beautiful venue with new box seats in the main theater, Fletcher Hall and other updates throughout the building that help to maintain the authentic look of the theater which was constructed in 1926. The Carolina Theater is located in downtown Durham just a short walk or drive from many of Durham’s best restaurants.

Upcoming musical performances include Lindsey Buckingham on October 1st and The Jayhawks on October 26th among others.  Or, if you’re in the mood for something a little otherworldly check out the Escapism Film Festival, October 7th – 9th.
