Annual Festival for the Eno River

The yearly festival to celebrate the Eno River in Durham and raise money to support the preservation of the river and its wetlands, runs July 2-4 from 10 am to 6pm each day.  The 2011 festival will feature more than 90 performers on four stages.
Stay two nights at the Arrowhead Inn during the festival and we will include two complimentary tickets to this extravaganza. Sip on cold fresh lemonade, plunge your hands into cool wet pottery clay, delight your ears with the melodies and harmonies of many local musicians at this all day event. Explore the creations of local potters, jewelers, painters, welders, weavers, and carvers.  For the younger generations (or young at heart), there's face painting, rock climbing, and activities on the river.  All proceeds from this festival help maintain and purchase new parklands to the already existing 3,000 acres of natural wildlife.  Don't miss the fun!  Visit Eno River Festival website for more information.
