Mosey up to "Avenue Q" at DPAC

If you love puppets and pop culture satire, you will love Avenue Q, the triple Tony Award Winning  musical about life in New York City, narrated by a cast of people and puppets.

Avenue Q returns to the Triangle after popular demand at DPAC, Durham Performing Arts Center, for two performances April 19-20, 2011 at 7:30pm.

Avenue Q tells the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college grad who moves to NYC with big dreams and a tiny bank account. The only apartment he can afford is way out on Avenue Q, where everyone’s looking for the same things he is: a decent job, a stable relationship, and a "purpose."

The show polks fun at contemporary pop culture and is flawlessly irreverent. Some adult humor makes this show inappropriate for children under 13.
