Fall is my favorite time of year.  The intensity of summer fades away and is replaced by a refreshing, cool breeze and lazy evenings around the fire place.  The leaves dance over the manor house in bold fall colors and every day the air in the keeping room smells more like nutmeg and fresh apple cider.  Short-sleeves are replaced by cozy sweaters and extra time is spent enjoying the company of family and friends as the holiday season approaches.  What isn't there to love?
