SPARKcon hits Raleigh, NC

A Showcase of Creativity
Thursday-Sunday
September 16th-19th
Downtown Raleigh, NC

Back and bigger than ever, SPARKcon, a "creative potluck" of ideas, art, music and culture, returns to Raleigh September 16th through the 19th.

Partnered with the Visual Art Exchange, a Raleigh non-profit committed to supporting local artists and connecting them with the community, SPARKcon is an arts festival like no other.  For 4 days, downtown Raleigh will be over taken with art, design, fashion, film, theater, dance, music and more.  Its a chance to interact with hundreds of emerging artists and designers from all over the triangle at one time in one place.

Using a combination of networking and open calls for participants, volunteer organizers create diverse and representative events to show off local talent.  It's a unique and original event run by the community, for the community.  If you were waiting for your one chance to see what the triangle art culture is all about, this is your chance.

Many events are free and open to the public.  SPARKS range from art markets to performances to street painting contests.  Check out the complete list of events to find the ones you are interested in.  Most events will take place on or around Fayetteville Street in downtown Raleigh.

The Arrowhead Inn is a quick, 30 minute drive from SPARKcon.  After an intense day of creative experiences, relax with us for a quiet weekend get-a-way in Durham, NC.
