Taste Carolina Gourmet Food Tours: Durham

Every Saturday
2:00 PM
Downtown Durham, North Carolina

Food is a huge part of our lives.  We eat alone, we eat with family, we eat with friends and we eat with strangers.  We eat in the morning, in the afternoon, at night and sometimes even in between.  Cooking for people lets us share a part of ourselves and discovering new food teaches us more about the world we live in.

Whether visiting the Arrowhead Inn from afar, or just taking a break from a busy, North Carolina life, why not take the chance to discover more about Durham through our food while your in town?

From savory, North Carolina barbecue to luscious southern biscuits and all the desserts and locally grown produce scattered in between, a Taste Carolina Food Tour will introduce you to all the dining treasures our town has to offer.  On a guided walking tour, you will have the chance to visit and sample from some of our favorite local restaurants in downtown and historic Brightleaf Square.  You'll also learn a little NC food history on the way and see some of Durham's most interesting landmarks.  Could there be a better way to immerse yourself in Durham culture?

Walking tours are from 2:00 to 5:00 PM every Saturday and cost $41.49 per person.  Meet in front of 300 Blackwell Street in downtown for a 2 to 3 mile walking tour of some of Durham's finest cuisine.  Register online and in advance to secure your spot for a tasty afternoon!
